T.O & Ma-7
"Usathane always walks with a friend"
"A Story of Two Halves" inspired by downplayed jealousy in friendship. These two boys who grew up together with a notion of being best friends but really don't have the same intentions for their "brotherly" friendship. One is from a non privileged background "To" and "Ma-7" is from a rather affording wealthy family.
T. O is an intelligent boy. Focused, Driven and highly admired by those who surround him and that does sit well with Ma-7 who lacks all the qualities his friend possesses. With lesser enthusiasm towards developing his personal, social morals and academics he displays a rather negative attitude towards his friend and spends most of their time together destroying "T.O"s life.

The play was excellent. I dont speak Zulu, but even without understanding the words, I was still very moved by the acting, the story, the simplicity, and the creativity of the narration.
