“Is it awkward?
Does it hurt?
Do you bleed?
Fornication,
consummation,
copulation.”

This quirky, playful physical theatre piece explores all the secrets about female virginity. Watch as the three main characters navigate their way through the preparation which leads up to the ultimate watering.

“Come on ladies, its flower time!"

'Vlower' explores the preparation a virgin undergoes before her first time. The work approaches female virginity from a completely different way; one that doesn’t make you feel like hurling for the nearest exit.

As a female collective exploring the female body and its relationship to the society we live in, it is one of their goals to create an open dialogue about the female body. Vlower sees young woman speaking about their bodies with their bodies and specifically speaks to younger woman who are conflicted with this subject matter. The collective want to encourage young woman to be more open in speaking about their bodies. The bold and quirky nature of the work also aims to empower woman.

I loved it, topics that were not discussed in my growing up days are now presented in theatre in a non confrontational fun funny style. Bravo!

At first a seemingly frivolous comedy, this show really opens up a new dialogue into femininity. It presents what goes through women's minds without them having to admit to it. Statistics show that women are far more open to discussing their bodies and Vlower seems to solidify this in a delicate and funny manner, it communicates that we are to embrace and celebrate it. I feel this just puts many women at ease knowing that we all think about the subjects presented, that we are not the only ones. I would recommend everyone see this highly hilarious and charming physical theatre piece. VIVA the VLOWER!
