Following the success of their run at the Ramolao Makhene Theatre during Human Rights week, the Kwasha Theatre Company bring their brand new work to the POPArt Theatre in Maboneng.

Does the youth of South Africa know what they Human Rights are, furthermore, how to exercise these rights? Are Human Rights accessible to everyone? Are they realistic in our lived experiences?

Set against the backdrop of South Africa’s current socio-political context this play explores how young South Africans perceive their Human Rights.

The play uses satire to interrogate and at times ridicule their relevance in real life.

Audience Responses

This show had the rhythm of a song, the energy of a protest, and the comedy of errors! An absolute pleasure to watch and I'm so extremely impressed with all involved. This show needs to go places (the Centre included.)
