A triptych of Black stories, by Black bodies, for all bodies. The BLACK Series features three physical theatre solos exploring the experiences of the Black body throughout history and the modern day.

Black-Stallation scrutinizes the Black body as spectacle. This solo draws on historical examples of the exoticized (and silenced) Black body from human zoos to Negro villages. And what would happen if the Black voice was heard.

Race (Delayed) highlights the grand narratives of the Black experience and questions when healing really begins when Black people are constantly fighting against a system that prevents them from fully embracing who they are?

Inspired Frantz Fanon’s text, Black Skin, White Mask focuses on the BLACK body throughout history, in a world which predominantly favored the White body.
